DELHI UNIVERSITY TO REFUND 86 LAKH TO STUDENTS

Delhi University is taking initiation to refund the fee to the students, who have cancelled their admission before 31 August 2019. They are asking for correct bank details for the refund process of the admission fee that the students deposited last year. However, any student that had cancelled their admission after 31 August 2019 will not be eligible for a refund.

The process of refund had been already started since 21 November but it wasn’t completed due to incorrect bank details provided by the students. There are still around 972 students left for the refund to be done.

Delhi University informed in a notification in their official website stating that the students were requested to update or correct their bank information on their admission portal within the next five days of 24 February 2020 as the refund process has failed due to wrong information provided by the students.

A total amount of Rs. 83,95,284 has already been refunded and there are more of about 950 students still left to get their refunds of undergraduate. In post-graduation, a total of 22 students with an amount of Rs. 2,25,831 is yet to be refunded.
