It is that time of the year when vibrant hues fill the sky all across. Yes, we are talking about Holi – the festival of colors knocking at our doors. Holi will be celebrated on March 29.
But this year there will be No Holi in Gujrat state, as govt issues restrictions in the midst, of a surge in COVID-19 cases.
The government has allowed the presence of limited number of people in villages and housing societies for Holika Dahan celebration.
Holi is just around the corner and people across the country are gearing up to celebrate the festival of colors. In 2020 the celebration of this festival was ruined due to COVID-19 pandemic, so in 2021 people are hoping for some respite.
Due to rising cases in many states, the state government has forced several restrictions, in celebrating this auspicious festival.
In some disappointing news for residents of Gujarat, the state government on Sunday (March 21) announced restrictions for celebrating, with colors amid the surge, in the rising case of COVID-19 in the state.
No permission will be granted for the festival of Holi said by Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel.
