The most dangerous state of community transmission Even while the World Health Organisation still continues to deny that India has entered the most dangerous stage of community transmission, a study by the Indian Council of Medical Research suggests something else. It was basically based on a random sampling test conducted on the patients suffering from severe acute respiratory illness. And it could be easily seen that there was a high rise in the number of people affected by COVID-19 who had no travel history. It was extremely surprising for everyone.
As many as 39.2 percent SARI patients who tested positive for coronavirus later, neither had a travel history nor had anyone had any contact with a person affected by coronavirus show the data compiled by ICMR. These patients were reported from 36 districts of 15 States. before 14th March no SARI patient was tested positive for coronavirus. Our country is currently dealing with a lot of problems as on one hand there are doctors and medical staff, treating people who are not even in the condition to breathe and on the other hand, there is police and army doing their duties tirelessly. India’s death toll has crossed 200 and it is really heartbreaking.
India added 678 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the total tally to 6,412. It is a difficult time for the government indeed as they suffer to decide to extend the lockdown, which has put millions of people out of work, beyond April 14 or not. though many people and many state governments have also favored extending the lockdown to avoid the hazardous circumstances which can be foreseen owing to the number of coronavirus cases in the country present day.
There has been no leniency shown in following and abiding by the measures suggested by the government, authorities in hotspots continue to reinforce stricter measures by sealing settlements, lanes, and apartments completely. It is very well said that a person alone can’t do anything but the combined thinking of people of doing something or anything can change many things.
