The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has addressed the nation on this occasion. In which he has said that yoga has emerged as a ray of hope in the fight against the corona virus disease (Kovid-19). In the International Yoga Day celebrations, individuals are now participating in a harmonious demonstration/performance of Yoga in large numbers.

This is the second consecutive year that the International Day of Yoga is being celebrated digitally due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This year’s theme is ‘Yoga for Wellness’.
According to the United Nations, this year’s theme is relevant. This time in the society which is still recovering from the effects of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic. Yoga can help those people deal with crises. and anxiety by increasing both physical and mental health.
The day is celebrated globally in about 190 countries, the release said. By removing all stress, the body and mind get the full dose of work. Yoga nidra is also beneficial for improving your breathing and muscle tension.
