For Redmi Note 7 Pro users in India, Xiaomi is finally beta testing MIUI 12 and reportedly the company has already started working on the beta version of the device of MUI 12. We all are rooting for that the stable version will be out in the coming months since Xiaomi has already started enrolling beta testers for the device and this update was shared via Mi Community Forum.
Before anything, Xiaomi will make sure to solve any bugs or issues that need to be fixed. On the list of MUI 12 up-gradation of phones, the Redmi Note 7 Pro which was launched in 2019 is also a part of that list but however, it’s important that the final stable Android 10 version of MIUI 11 is released for Redmi Note 7 Pro users in the country before the phone gets the MIUI 12 version.
Xiaomi Android 10 Update
The latest Android 10 updates were finally rolled out by the company for its phone in March but, however, the update was only available for those who are based on China. As for the update, the Android 10 update on the latest Redmi Note 7 Pro was about around 2.1 GB size. The GSMArena reported that along with a software update that brings some stability improvements, it has also added the Android security patch for the month of May.
Finally, the Redmi Note 7 Pro users will be able to experience the new version with MUI 12. The MUI 12 has a new surface security features, interface and also it is based on Android 10. According to the company, Android 10 based MIUI 11 Beta Stable will be only released for selected users in India and the users will get this update through OTP.
Even though this is a stable build, the company is still launching it as a beta which means that there are still some bugs present in it and once that version rolls out, one can start counting down the clock before the MIUI 12 version hits the device.
