Realme X3 SuperZoom will globally launch in Europe on Tuesday, May 26th and is confirmed to come to India soon. The brand has been teasing a few key features about the smartphone in the days leading up to the launch event such as confirming its 64MP quad camera setup and 60x zoom support.
Realme has now confirmed a few more Realme X3 SuperZoom specifications and has also released a new teaser video that shows of the phone’s design from the front and back. The Realme X3 SuperZoom is confirmed to launch with the Snapdragon 855+ processor and 120Hz display, as previously rumoured.
Realme X3 SuperZoom specifications confirmed
One launch poster confirmed that the X3 SuperZoom will come with a 120Hz high refresh rate. This is most likely an LCD screen as we see the fingerprint sensor on the side of the frame rather than in-screen.
The second poster reveals that Realme will be using last year’s flagship Snapdragon 855+ chipset. The company claims the SuperZoom scored the highest AnTuTu score for Snapdragon 855+ with a score of 517,743. The company has previously confirmed that the smartphone will feature a periscope lens to support 60x digital zoom.
A teaser video posted by the company also reveals the phone’s design from the front and back. The X3 SuperZoom will see a vertical quad-camera setup on the back, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual punch-hole cameras on the front. The phone will come in white and blue colour options.
Why Snapdragon 855+?
You may be wondering why Realme is going with a 2019 flagship chipset instead of the Snapdragon 865, and the answer seems to be an obvious one – affordability.
Realme is no doubt looking to launch the X3 SuperZoom as an affordable flagship phone. The Snapdragon 855+ is still a blazing fast chipset and we should see that the phone deliver a performance similar to the Realme X2 Pro. To recall, the Realme X2 Pro with Snapdragon 855+ launched in India at Rs 29,999, and we expected the Realme X3 SuperZoom to fall below Rs 30,000 as well.
