On 14 April Xiaomi’s subsidiary Redmi releases the latest Air Dots S TWS earbuds in China. With not much visual changes in the new model, it does offer a new mono sound output mode that can split the two earbuds as a separate receiver.
Even though the Air Dots S still relies on Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, just like the previous ones, it is though touted to offer better sound transaction. There is also a new mode- low latency game mode.
The other features like 7.2mm drivers, DSP noise-cancelling for calls and touch controls for music and voice assistant toggling are still the same. While the battery life on a single charge is rated 4 hours but the charging case extends it up to 12 hours. The Air Dots are also IPX4 compliant meaning they are splash resistant.
The price for the Redmi Air Dots is CYN 99 ($14) and are already sold in China and by the end of this year, it will also be available internationally. Expected Price In India Rs 1199.
