As it has now received the BIS certification in the country, Redmi Note 9 is set to be launched in India following the global announcement on 30 April. To recall back in March 2020, India launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max phones.
The phone is said to be a rebranded Redmi 10X, which is expected to be launched in China pretty soon. While the exact launch timeline is not clear at the moment, it could be soon after the lockdown is lifted, possibly alongside the Mi 10 series.
