Xiaomi is celebrating its 10th anniversary and therefore has announced its first virtual investment summit “Demo Day” on April 24. This is done together with Shunwei Capital to invite the investor community to witness the growth of Xiaomi’s portfolio companies.
Xiaomi is hoping to interact with investors online to discuss changes brought by the Coronavirus pandemic and to discover potential opportunities in these times.
The online Demo Day will be held in the form of a video conference on April 24. There will be six different sessions, and various projects will be introduced in different sectors like software, hardware, finance, enterprise services, consumer goods, and technology.
The meeting will start at 10:00 AM on April 24 with parallel sessions on smart equipment and 2C, followed by a break. From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the sessions will be on consumer goods, and 2B and the last session from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM will be on overseas investment sessions and cutting-edge technology.
The investment summit is open for registration for potential investors for overseas investment session. All the interested people can visit the Xiaomi blog and scan the QR code to get registered.
The release by the company also mentioned that over the past nine years, Xiaomi and Shunwei Capital have invested in 500+ companies covering sectors like smart hardware, consumer goods, community & social activities, AI, entertainment, SaaS, banking and finance.
